Business Development Representative

Role Overview

As a Business Development Representative, you will focus on identifying and introducing prospective clients who are a strong fit for our luxury travel services. This includes travelers seeking thoughtfully designed itineraries, often involving complex routing, premium accommodations, and curated, experience-driven travel. Our priority is not volume, but quality of fit — clients who value expertise, collaboration, and intentional travel design.

We prioritize:

  • Trips with strong alignment to our planning model
  • Clients who value bespoke design and a collaborative planning process
  • Itineraries where quality, not speed or price-shopping, is the goal

Your role is to help identify and attract clients who genuinely appreciate this approach.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate for this role:

  • Has existing relationships with our ideal clientele.
  • Is comfortable making warm introductions and leveraging personal and professional networks
  • Understands the nuances of luxury service, discretion, and relationship-based business development
  • Can confidently communicate the value of custom travel planning

This role is best suited for someone who already operates within or adjacent to the luxury space and can naturally connect the right clients to our services.

Performance Goals

While this role does not have strict quotas, we encourage you to aim for the following benchmarks to maximize your impact and earning potential:

  • Secure 3–5 qualified lead introductions per month, with a goal of converting at least one into a closed sale
  • Achieve $100,000 in total trip value booked within your first six months

These goals are aspirational and intended to provide structure and guidance, not rigid performance requirements.

Compensation

Compensation is performance-based. Specific commission structure details will be discussed on an individual basis, allowing flexibility based on experience, network strength, and level of involvement.

Independent Contractor Status

This position is offered as an independent contractor (1099) role. As such:

  • You are responsible for covering your own business-related expenses, including (but not limited to) marketing, travel, and communication costs
  • You will receive a Form 1099 for tax purposes
  • Exclusivity Requirement: While working with us, you must exclusively promote our travel services and may not represent competing travel companies
  • Program Access Fee: A monthly affiliation fee of $100 applies to access our proprietary systems, training, and internal resources
